Hawee donates 100 million VND to the Luong The Vinh Study Encouragement Fund

In the evening of November 18th, 2011, Hawee M&E JSC donated 100 million VND to the Luong The Vinh Study Encouragement Fund, during the Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee meeting.
In attendance was Mr. Dinh The Huynh, Politburo Member and Head of the Central Propaganda Committee, Mr. Dinh La Thanh, the Minister of Transportation, and many prominent leaders from Nam Dinh.
Mr. Duong Xuan De, Deputy General Director of Hawee M&E Ltd, awarded the study encouragement fund with a check and commented on the importance of allowing young people to develop their talents through continued training and support.
The Luong The Vinh Study Encouragement Fund assists economically-challenged students who have excellent results in national exams and live in Nam Dinh province to attend school.
To date, the fund has received more than 11 billion VND from individuals, organizations, and businesses, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tran Binh Minh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Lien Viet Post Bank, The Him Lam Company, National Petroleum Corporation of Vietnam, Financial Joint Stock Petroleum Corporation, Khai Hung Company, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, Agriculture Bank and Rural Development, and the Overseas Vietnamese Association of Russia.
