Overview

Central Field Trung Kinh project has been in preparation for delivery to the investor. On October 17^th, Hawee conducted commissioning of the firefighting and protection system at the project in coordination with Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department; and representatives of Hanoi Fire Police Department, the Investor, the Consultant and contractors.

Before the start of commissioning, the concerned units had a quick meeting at Hawee Management Board Office and checked all the system design documentation and architectural drawings of the firefighting and protection system and related ones such as electrical system, water supply system and HAVC system executed by Hawee in this project, ensuring the contractor has complied with the approved contents by Hanoi Fire Police Department.

The project’s firefighting and protection system is designed in accordance with Vietnamese standards and with reference to standards of some developed countries and international organizations.

The automatic fire alarm system designed for the project consists of 03 automatic fire alarming centres (of address and region combined type) for 03 buildings, whose cabinets are placed on the first floors. Heat detectors are installed in the garage and kitchens of the apartments. Optical smoke detectors are located in the office areas, electrical engineering chambers and corridors of the buildings. Bell, lamp and fire button boxes are installed in the corridors, close to the stairs and the entrances of the buildings.

There is a potentially high risk of fire and explosion in basements due to the location of electric stations with high capacity and also the place of vehicles with a huge amount of gasoline; once a fire occurs, serious consequences will definitely result. In Central Field project, 03 basements use Drencher system and sprinklers, ensuring timely and effective firefighting.

For firefighting, there are 03 fire pumping stations, one of which is for the basement area; 01 for the 1st floors to the technical floors, 01 for the Drencher system, all designed for automatic operation with spare pumps to ensure firefighting even if the prime pumps fail to operate or are temporarily lockout for maintenance.

An effective firefighting and protection system requires the collaboration of other electromechanical systems such as electrical systems, water supply systems, HAVC systems, smoke extraction, elevators, etc. At Central Field Central, Hawee provides a properly functioning firefighting and protection system, ensuring the project’s safety as well as meeting the legal requirements, bringing synchronous mechanical solutions and smoothly interdependent systems for the project’s optimal operation.
